Detective Kat Donovan’s world comes crashing down when she finds her fiancé on a dating app. Leading her to reopen her father’s unsolved murder. This will be the 4th adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel starring Richard Armitage. The lead actress was the only one who hooked me, but the rest of the acting was so uneven and unconvincing – even from the biggest names. There were plots that went nowhere, explanations not given, superfluous characters that cluttered things up and a lot of truly unbelievable events and coincidences. The premise was good, but there was the increasingly annoying and inexplicable decision to use the “turquoise and orange” color palette everywhere – which is so irritating and comes up all the time (The A Word, Ludwig etc) for no good reason – and once you notice it, it’s so distracting. Average. “Indemnity” Season 2 is one of the biggest TV and streaming series premieres this month. Check out our January schedule for more!
